Looking for the best organic vegan soya milk yoghurt starter? Our meticulously researched and tested starter guarantees delicious, creamy, and reusable yoghurt every time. Unlike other vegan yoghurt starters, ours offers high reusability and a true yoghurt taste.

Why Choose Our Organic Vegan Soya Milk Yoghurt Starter?

  1. Exceptional Taste and Texture: Our starter produces a yoghurt that not only tastes great but also has the perfect consistency. It requires a thickening agent, such as tapioca starch, to achieve the ideal texture.
  2. Sustainable and Reusable: Our heirloom variety of bacteria allows you to reculture indefinitely, reducing plastic waste and promoting sustainability.
  3. Organic and Vegan Certified: Our starter is fully organic and vegan certified, ensuring you get the best quality without compromising your values.

How to Use the Organic Vegan Soya Milk Yoghurt Starter

This thermophilic yoghurt starter requires heat to ferment. Here’s a step-by-step guide to making your own organic vegan soya milk yoghurt:

  1. Preparation: Use a dedicated yoghurt maker for best results.
  2. Incubation: Incubate the starter at 42°C (107.6°F) for 4-6 hours.
  3. Thickening Agent: We recommend tapioca starch, which is derived from the cassava plant. This plant, native to Brazil, is now widely used in South America, the West Indies, Africa, and Asia. Alternatives include agar agar powder, pectin, or gelatine (if you’re not vegan).

What’s Inside Our Organic Vegan Soya Milk Yoghurt Starter?

Our starter contains a blend of Lactobacillus and Streptococcus bacteria with a CFU count comparable to that of dairy yoghurts. Each starter sachet includes:

  • 1g of freeze-dried yoghurt starter
  • 2g of tapioca starch

This combination is enough to make 1 litre of organic vegan soya milk yoghurt.

This culture is good... Even though I'm still getting the hang of it. Careful about your heating time. I overdid it and my yogurt came out bitter. However, used a few tablespoons for the next batch (along with tapioca starch), and this batch was so much better (13 hours). I'm only two batches in, but improvements from an uncompromising starter. Thank you.

Fantastic

I bought it as a gift for my son and when there was a slight muddle with my order which was promptly sorted and a free gift added to my order...I love your products still using my sourdough starter from last year and look forward to hearing how my son's yoghurt making goes.thank you.

Nice soy yogurt

The first batch I did with the starter culture turned out very liquidy. One problem could have been that my yogurt maker only heats up to 40°C and not the necessary 42°C.
For the second batch I used the instructions of my Luvele yogurt maker, which suggests 24h at 40°C. The yogurt was much thicker and I am very pleased with the result.

My order was short

I have tried calling and emailing. Order no. 93669. You only sent 1 x 40g water kefir grains instead of 2. I paid and ordered 2. Please send me the rest of the order. Thanks.
