Chaga (Inonotus obliquus) is the most common name (Russian: pronounced chah-ga) for a fungus or mushroom from the Hymenochaetaceae family. In the Netherlands, this mushroom is rare and is called Birch Weather Mushroom. It is found on birch trees in northern regions.
Chaga mushrooms have been used for centuries in Siberia and other parts of Asia as a medicine to boost immunity and improve overall health.
