Do you love greek yoghurt as much as we do? well if you do we’re about to give you our special recipe so you can make your own Chocolate mousse straight from home, using your Freshly Fermented Greek Yoghurt. this is a brilliant little treat to have after a long day, and it tastes delicious! this is a brilliant way to implement your daily dose of prebiotics into a delicious dessert that is incredibly easy to make straight from home.
Prep Time: 5 Minutes
Setting Time: 2 Hours
Ingredients:
180 ml of milk
100g of dark chocolate
500ml of greek yoghurt
1 tbsp of honey or maple sugar
1/2 tsp of vanilla extract
Step 1: Pour your milk into a clean saucepan and add your dark chocolate as well. we recommend grating the chocolate before pouring it into the pan. slowly raise the temperature of the saucepan until the chocolate melts, but do not let the milk boil as this could compromise the flavour. Once the chocolate has melted into the milk, add the honey and vanilla extract into the mixture and stir well, making sure it is mixed in well.
Step 2: Spoon the Greek yoghurt into a large bowl and then add the chocolate milk mixture as well. make sure that you stir the mixture well, if it is not well stirred together then it will not set properly.
Step 3: Once stirred together leave the mixture in the fridge to set for around 2 hours. we recommend having the serving with some fruit, like strawberries or orange slices.
Step 4: The Greek Yoghurt Chocolate Mousse will only last for around 2 days in the fridge, so consume within 2 days of making.
Step 5: Enjoy your dessert with the family, or even a quick little treat for yourself. Go on … we won’t tell đŸ˜‰
