Organic Turkey Tail Powder (50g)

The Turkey Tail (Trametes versicolor) is a mushroom and a very common annual saprophyte (feeds on dead wood) on stumps and branches of deciduous trees. In addition, it can sometimes be found on fir trees. It grows in groups and has a white edge with different coloured zones: reddish brown, grey, blackish, white and beige. The sturdy, fan-shaped hats of the bracket are 3-8 cm in size and usually no thicker than 2 mm.

Turkey tail is a mushroom that grows all year round. When harvesting, the ‘elfin banana’ is picked from various forests. After harvesting, the mushroom is cut into pieces and left to dry in the oven. After this process, it is processed into a fine elven powder. We grow and freeze dry our organic turkey tail powder on site here in Lee on Solent.

Mushrooms are generally full of fibre, vitamins, proteins and minerals. In addition, they contain a lot of water and few calories. Mushroom powder is naturally rich in many B vitamins, including Vitamin B-3 and the minerals magnesium, copper, potassium, phosphorus and selenium. In addition, it contains essential amino acids and fatty acids.

Suggested serving: 1-5g to be taken daily. Best mixed into a drink such as a smoothie but can also be added to food. The taste can. be slightly bitter at times.

Each bag contains 50g

Great got the Lions mane and Turkey tail

Definitely worth buying. When the company shows you how they harvest them It reassures you you’re getting what you pay for and in return the benifits. The price is great! 50g mushroom powder for that quality and price!? Just about to make another order

Saved my life

I am not joking when I say Turkey Tail Mushroom powder saved my life. I had triple negative breast cancer. The chemotherapy made me so ill I couldn't carry on after the first dose. My friend recommended this and as I had nothing to lose and with the permission of my oncology consultant I started to take this before my second session. My bloods regulated, my neutrophils stayed level and instead of having me head down the toilet I was out walking 10,000 steps a day and even doing the odd work out. The only time I felt unwell again was when I dropped the dose to 2 grams a day instead of 4g (or more) and my blood became erratic again and I couldn't get off the sofa. I upped my dose again and within 5 days I was back to walking. I asked my consultant and she admitted my blood work fell and I started to become neutropenic during the time I was taking the lower dose. TURKEY TAIL POWER ROCKS!!! America are now looking at this as an adjunct therapy to all Chemo and Radio therapy. And our own Kings College London are looking at it too! And one other thing. On my suggestion a friend gave it to her dog as he had a cancerous lump on his head. The lump has gone....
