Leona’s Kefir Smoothie Recipe
A creamy, protein-packed blend with gut-loving probiotics and plenty of fibre, this smoothie is a powerhouse for your morning routine or post-workout refuel.
Ingredients:
100ml kefir (for probiotics and gut health)
100g Freshly Fermented Greek Yoghurt or equivalent (for extra creaminess and protein)
Half a frozen banana (for natural sweetness and a boost of potassium)
½ tablespoon nut butter or peanut butter (for healthy fats and a satisfying texture)
2 tablespoons oat bran (for fibre and slow-releasing energy)
3 tablespoons cocoa powder (for antioxidants and a rich, chocolatey taste)
1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon (for warmth and blood sugar balance)
A pinch of ground cloves (for added depth and immune support)
¼ teaspoon ground vanilla (or ½ teaspoon high-quality vanilla paste for natural sweetness)
