Our Lebanese yoghurt is one of the new range of yoghurts we have. Lebanese yoghurt is very tart, yet with pronounced sweetness, and has a wonderful velvety texture. Stirring this yogurt before eating results in a silky smooth texture. Heaven on a spoon! This is the perfect yogurt for making labne!

Our Lebanese yoghurt contains the following beneficial bacteria and yeast: L. acidophilus, S. thermophilus, L. bulgaricus, L. casei, L. rhamnosus, Bifidobacterium, L. lactis

The great thing with our culture is that you can make it at home without the need to add sugar, preservatives or emulsifiers. This is a thermophilic yoghurt. It requires a yoghurt maker to be able to work with the culture.

To keep your culture viable, you must make your next batch of yogurt within 7 days. After that time frame, the culture will start to die off and may not be healthy enough to re-culture.

    Are the instructions for Lebanese yoghurt starter activation the same as any other thermophillic starter? I cannot find any specific instructions. I used to like your distinction between mesophillic and thermophillic yoghurts which seems to have gone on your new website.
